Clinical Trial Manager (80 - 100%)

Department of Neurology, University Hospital Zurich

Background

Animal and observational studies in humans suggest that deeper sleep is associated with slower progression of neurodegenerative processes. Several long-term studies will now investigate whether targeted enhancement of deep sleep in the context of Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s disease can slow disease progression or even act preventively.

To enhance deep sleep, a non-invasive, non-pharmacological method of acoustic slow-wave sleep stimulation is used: playing tones synchronized with brain activity to strengthen slow-wave sleep.

To initiate, establish, and manage these studies operationally, the Department of Neurology at the University Hospital Zurich is seeking an engaged Clinical Trial Manager.
